School Partners

The eduWeavers School-to-School Partnership Program offers its schools unique benefits. The program currently consists of three formalized levels of partnership engagement: Colleague, Collaborator, and Partner. The following describes the process used by eduWeavers consultants to form and then foster the ongoing development of these partnerships.
First, eduWeavers consultants and prospective partner schools evaluate the school's globalization, partnership, and curriculum enhancement goals to help schools determine their readiness and appropriateness for entering into an eduWeavers school-to-school partnership. The prospective partner school evaluation methodology used by eduWeavers consultants consists of employing the following techniques:
- Community brainstorming
- Facilitated discussion forum
- Formal self-evaluation questionnaires based upon insights gained from brainstorming and discussion sessions
- Personal interviews
- Feedback sessions to appropriate school/community members
Once eduWeavers consultants have facilitated the successful completion of a school's self-evaluation and have confirmed the school's readiness, these consultants will then form a school-to-school partnership that has the greatest chance of being successful through meeting each of the school's goals and criteria. As part of this self-evaluation process, eduWeavers consultants help schools evaluate how quickly and to what level of depth the schools would like to grow their partnerships over time.
